Alternating Current: NEET 2021

Medium· AC Voltage Applied to a Series LCR Circuit· +4 / −1
An inductor of inductance LL, a capacitor of capacitance CC and a resistor of resistance RR are connected in series to an ac source of potential difference VV volts as shown in figure. Potential difference across LL, CC and RR is 40 V40\ \mathrm{V}, 10 V10\ \mathrm{V} and 40 V40\ \mathrm{V}, respectively. The amplitude of current flowing through LCR series circuit is 102 A10\sqrt{2}\ \mathrm{A}. The impedance of the circuit is : Figure: a series loop containing the inductor, the capacitor and the resistor in that order, driven by an ac source VV; the potential differences marked across them are 40 V40\ \mathrm{V} (L), 10 V10\ \mathrm{V} (C) and 40 V40\ \mathrm{V} (R).
