Trigonometric Functions: JEE Mains 2022, June 28 - Shift 1

Hard· Heights and distances· +4 / −1
Two vertical poles ABAB (of height 2h2h) and PQPQ (of height hh) stand on level ground with BB and QQ at their feet, 160 m160\ \text{m} apart. A point OO on BQBQ is 80 m80\ \text{m} from each pole. The angle of elevation of PP (the top of the pole PQPQ) from OO is π8\dfrac\pi8 and the angle of elevation of AA (the top of the pole ABAB) from OO is θ\theta. Find tan⁡2θ\tan^2\theta.
